From January 30th until February 02nd 2017, Streifeneder ortho.production presented a selection of their large product range at the medical technology exhibition Arab Health in Dubai. The international trade fair was held for the 41st time and is one of the most important medicine industry event in the Near East, continuously attracting numerous professional visitors.
Highlight of the prosthetic sector was the redesign of the polycentric prosthetic knee joint KINEGEN.stream 3A2500. With its new product design dominated by the colours grey, white and red, the KINEGEN.stream harmoniously fits into the appearance of the KINEGEN knee joint-series. New features in mechanics and hydraulics benefit more convenient handling.
More product-highlights were shown by the new thermoplastic material Streifydur® Ortho for manufacturing night splints, orthoses and semi-flexible inlays as well as the modular orthosis joint-system Artikon, which includes high-quality system joints, system bars, system stirrups, lamination dummies and tools for the construction of dynamic ankle-, knee and whole-leg orthoses.
In the orthotic field, the exhibition highlights included the hard-frame knee orthosis GenuSupport, which provides guided knee joint control due to a comfortable 4-point principle protection after severe knee injuries and following surgery of the ligamentous apparatus; as well as the pneumatic calf orthoses AeroWalker and AeroWalker.short for immobilsation in pre-set position.
At this year’s Arab Health, on more than 65.000 sqm with nearly 4.200 exhibitors from around 65 countries, about 100.000 visitors used this ideal platform to gain information about innovations in health care. The next Arab Health will be held from January 29th until February 01st, 2018.
