Function The upper and lower parts of the joint are connected by linkage bars. The stance phase safety is achieved by the polycentric kinematics (adjustment of the instant centre of rotation by extension stop adjustment). The steplessly variable adjustment of the axle friction and the spring controls the swing phase.
